Meet Erica 👋
I’m Erica Lorraine, a Design Principal devoted to the intersections of human-centered design, human factors, and innovation. My work lives where empathy meets intelligence: translating complex systems into experiences that feel intuitive, safe, and deeply human.
I believe that among all the methods we wield as designers, storytelling remains our most transformative technology, the bridge between data and meaning, function and feeling.
At MD Anderson, I serve as an Innovation Human Factors Principal, shaping how clinicians and patients engage with intelligent systems. I also advise on the Environmental Standards Council for the Center for Health Design, guiding the evolution of evidence-based environments.
Previously, I’ve designed for Techstars, crafted product experiences for MSK, and shaped healing spaces as a Medical Planner and Architect with Perkins Eastman. In my off-hours, you’ll find me prototyping with new software or creating 3D illustrations that explore the poetry of form and function.
